Since the forecast is for another brutally hot weekend, we thought we would mix it up a little this weekend and offer TWO white wines, a rose and finish up with a nice, smooth California Syrah!

Market Wines at Findlay Market – Tasting July 3 & 4, 2010

Happy Fourth of July weekend!  We will be open and tasting on Sunday, July 4th!  Stop by before your holiday cookout to sample and bring home a little wine or beer to share with family and friends.

This weekend we are tasting three wines from California and one from New Zealand. We will start off with a nice, crisp citrus-infused Sauvignon Blanc from California -  refreshing in this hot weather.  The second wine is a Viognier from Loredona – we’ve tasted their Riesling and Pinot Grigio before and everyone has loved them.  The third wine is a new Pinot Noir from New Zealand – lots of vibrant black cherry and plum notes and great with grilled meats!  Finally, we will finish with a Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa Valley – if you are having steak with your grill out, this is the wine you want to go with!

Tasting is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.  $5 to taste all four wines; no reservation necessary.
