And we are back to wine this weekend!  We have a fruity, crisp and slightly sweet Riesling from the Willamette Valley in Oregon, a new Pinot Noir from New Zealand and a new Rioja from Spain.  Finally, in honor of today’s start of  World Cup soccer championship play, we have a wine from the tournament’s location – South Africa.  This white blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay, is also new to the shop.

We also wanted to remind everyone that for Father’s Day weekend (which is NEXT WEEKEND), we will be featuring Cincinnati’s very own Burnet Ridge wines.  Winemaker Chip Emmerich will be on hand to help pour on Saturday but we will feature the wines both Saturday and Sunday.  Bring Dad on down!

Finally, we have a special treat for one of our upcoming Tuesday tastings – Jean-Pascal Lacaze – winemaker for  Domus Aurea, Penalolen, and Vina Pargua – will be on hand to sample his wines on Tuesday, June 22.  We will have some food on hand to sample as well. 5 – 7 p.m. $10 per person.
